A1/A3 Open Category
The A1/A3 certificate is the pilot certificate required under the new European Regulation for amateur or professional use of drones in the A1 and A3 sub-categories of the open category.
• A1 from 0 to 900 gr with sub-categories
C0 : 0 to 250 gr - C1 : 250gr to 900 gr - custom manufactured : up to 250gr
Flights to a residential area and close to people
• A3 from 4kg to 25kg with sub-categories
C3-C4 : 4 kg to 25 kg - C4 : Custom manufactured up to 25 kg
Flights only in an uninhabited area and at least 150 meters away from people, property etc.
